Gahanna Mounts Comeback to Stun Pick North, 27-24

In an epic OCC battle, Gahanna hit a game-winning field goal as time expired to beat Pickerington North, 27-24. Kicker Tanner Harding's 37-yard FG capped Gahanna's comeback. With less than a minute remaining, the Lions ran a trick play when Mason Blancett lateraled to Ronald Robinson, who then completed a pass to a diving Jenisys Battle. Jonathon Cooper also blocked and returned a FG for a TD to tie the game for the Lions. Gahanna (7-2, 6-0) has now won 7 straight games. Pick North (3-6, 3-3) held onto a 24-10 lead in the 2nd half, but gave up the final 17 points. Pick North WR Romaeo Whitlow had 121 yards receiving and also had an INT. Gahanna next faces Pickerington Central for the OCC Ohio title in week 10. Pick North will finish out the season at Grove City.
