Scioto got off to a hot 16-0 start, but it was Jerome who went on a 36-6 run to earn the upset win. The Dublin rivals matched each other in virtually every statistical category except two key areas that made the difference: penalties and turnovers. The Irish turned the ball over three times and had 11 penalties compared the Celtics' zero turnovers and four penalties. Scioto fought back in the 4th and had a chance to win in the final seconds but an incomplete pass saw the win slip away. Scioto (4-3) turns their head towards a huge OCC test at Hilliard Darby (6-1) in a critical match for playoff points.
